Nadine Wolf Budbill

--originally of Wolcott, Vermont, now resides in Brooklyn, NY--is a poet, performer and social justice educator. She is the Director of The Girls Project, an empowerment program for girls on the Lower East Side of New York City. She is a Co-Director of On The Rise Youth-Empowerment-Thru-Art Summer Camps and the Director of Full Cycle, a mountain biking camp for girls, both located in the Lamoille County area of Vermont. As a poet and performer she has published numerous works in small, never-heard-of magazines and newspapers.
She performs collaboratively on the regular with DJ Mysdefy, a woman turntablist who breaks the boundaries of misogyny and homophobia in popular music, live action artist Bless and other artists such as breakdancers and vocal percussionists. She believes in art and grassroots education to ignite the personal and the political into revolutionary change
